Growing up I was always interested in fashion. It went from cutting out clothing ideas from magazines, to drawing out my ideas, making my own clothes, to finally going to college for Fashion Merchandising. I started a fashion blog in 2012 (Too Curvy To Care) that discusses all things fashion with an emphasize on plus fashion. There wasn't much out there on fashion for curvy women so I decided to focus my blog on that. This is when I began to see fashion in a whole new view: from prints, to mixing trends and realizing how much you can accomplish with fashion, but from a curvy girls point of view.
I enjoy what I do! I've worked in various areas of the fashion industry and it has made me enjoy my job that much more. Taking my experience and helping everyday women look and feel good about themselves makes me glad that I chose this as my career. I am a body positive advocate and make it my job to let women know that you can dress and feel amazing no matter what size your are. Because remember our size is just a number. It does not define us!
Having friends and family call me to get ideas on what to wear and bouncing ideas off me is what made me say, "why not be a wardrobe stylist?" For years I was the go to person when it came to fashion and what to wear/not wear, so why not help others and share my experience.
